Speak Naturally Speech Pathology Services are focussed on the individual communication and swallowing concerns of each person. We work with people, their families, care providers and any professionals involved, to develop individualised assessment, therapies and programs. This support is informed by evidence-based practices and consideration of the wholistic health and wellbeing needs of each person.

Difficulties might be related to illness, stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, dementia and other conditions effecting the brain, nervous system or breathing. Sometimes issues arise without any known cause, and a speech pathology assessment can help with determining the nature of the problems being experienced.
​
Speech pathology sessions are offered in the Speak Naturally clinic in Morpeth, near Maitland. For people having difficulty leaving the home, including those receiving palliative care services, a home visit may be arranged within the Maitland local government area (and possibly somewhat outside of this area, by special arrangement).
Katie also has extensive experience in paediatric speech pathology, working with children, collaborating with families, carers and education providers to build a supportive, comfortable and effective learning environment for each child. Speak Naturally is currently not accepting paediatric referrals, however these services may becomes available across 2024-2025. Please contact Speak Naturally if you have any specific enquiries.
